even when he had not yet started

to think about what it is he “had.”

Shoulders tall and back

confident in style, walk, and body

his was a cultivated look

that spoke “Watch this.”

If there was ignorance,

doubt, fear, or uncertainty

you would never guess

And some way

somehow

he always pulled it off…
